Although Portal is a short game, it is incredibly innovative with its primary mechanic of the Portal Gun. The Portal Gun allows for a hybrid of puzzle and first person shooter gameplay that is truly unique. There is also interesting lore as you traverse further into the Aperture Science Enrichment Center, and the main antagonist GLaDOS is very well-written. And to conclude the game, Still Alive is a great song.
