Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies Review

Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies is the first entry of the series on the PlayStation 2, and it brings a new and improved flight experience. The player takes control of Mobius 1, a silent pilot with unreal abilities. Far more than just a generic piloting game, Ace Combat 04 has a very deep story, creating its own universe and exploring the war between Erusea and the ISAF, and the perspective of both the ISAF and Erusea's Yellow Squadron. The gameplay has Mobius 1 accomplishing different objectives, and different fighter planes can be bought over time with money obtained by completing missions. The presentation is very well-done, with solid graphics for an early PS2 game and an incredible soundtrack.
